How to Use PLR Content to Blow Your Competition Out of the Water

Posted in My Posts by Toni Shrader

PLR is an alternative to writing copy yourself…most of the time it is already optimized for the Search Engines and just the right size for blog entries or autoresponder letters.

PLR should only be used if you are certain that it hasn’t been circulated around the net thousands of times…so how do you make your PLR articles stand out from the crowd? Rewrite it in your own words! I personally see nothing wrong with using PLR if you rewrite it….and I am absolutely adamant about this….I repeat you MUST rewrite the content….so with that in mind I have a great source for PLR products for you and you can join for FREE!

Does it seem like you spend the majority of your time (or money!) on content creation? Website content, newsletter content, blog content, new products, mini-courses, special reports… the list goes on!

Or worse, maybe you don’t devote time or money to developing content. In this case, you’re missing out on a huge opportunity. As they say, “content is king online”.

To help them overcome the hurdle of producing content, smart marketers are turning to Private Label Rights (PLR) articles, ebooks and special reports. It’s a very affordable way to keep up with all the content that a successful site needs.

But PLR content could be doing even more…

Most people using PLR are just scratching the surface of what this awesome resource can do. They’re submitting articles to article directories and creating Adsense sites instead of focusing on where the real money is.

Chances are that if your competitors are using PLR content, they’re missing out on some golden opportunities as well.

What smart marketers know is that PLR content is a great secret weapon to blow your competition out of the water.

Here are some ways that PLR content can put you a step ahead of the others in your industry:

1. Fast Product Creation – Products are where the money is. It gives you complete control over your image and lets you keep a higher percentage of the profits. Using PLR content you can create a product within hours instead of months.

2. More Complete Product Lines – The more products you have for sale, the more money you will make. It really is as simple as that. Because once a customer purchases one product from you and is satisfied with it, he or she is significantly more likely to make another purchase. By having a complete line of products on the same topic you’ll greatly increase your backend sales.

3. Both Free and Paid Products – PLR content is a great way to create both free and paid content. This gives you options for building your list and participating in giveaway events while at the same time having a line of products that you sell.

4. Other Content – Whether you need content for your website, blog or newsletter, PLR is the quickest and easiest way to get it done. Although some PLR will need to be rewritten, you can also combine information from different sources to create longer articles that need very little rewriting.

5. Free up Resources – When you spend less time and money on creating products and other content, you’ll have more resources to focus on promoting your site. Watch your traffic go through the roof when you’re devoting 75% of your time to attracting visitors instead of writing.

If you’re not already using PLR content to grow your business, now is the time to start. There are so many opportunities to save time and money while at the same time propelling your business forward at lightning speed.

The key is to just get out there and do it!

Starting Your Own Publishing Business Is Easier Than You Think!

Posted in My Posts by Toni Shrader

7 Reasons Why Most Marketers Fail

There has been more millionaires created in publishing than in almost any other field, including the Stock Market and Real Estate.

Publishers make a lot of money - why not be one?

All you need is that first product. Do that right the first time, and all you have to do is “rinse and repeat” with further products. Perhaps you’ve heard all this before, and even tried doing it. Let me guess - it didn’t work for you.

There may have been all manner of reasons why you failed. The main ones being:

Reason #1: You were always too busy and couldn’t devote the time necessary. It may be that you already work full-time and by the time you get home you are either too tired to do anything or just want to spend what time you have with your family - that’s understandable.

Reason #2: You lacked the technical knowledge. Putting it all together is like a king-size jig-saw puzzle, it’s no surprise you were overwhelmed with all the individual learning curves. You may have found answers to some of them - but the complete picture remained a mystery.

Reason #3: You never really had the right offer. You might have had the perception that to sell one eBook was the way to go. That may have been the case years ago but it certainly isn’t the case any more. It’s not good enough any more to have a “good” offer - you need an “irresistible” offer.

Reason #4: You found it difficult to reach the right audience. It’s no good trying to sell to everyone, you’ll just end up selling to no-one. You need to target a tight niche - not too small but not too big either.

Reason #5: You found it hard to convert the few visitors that you did get. Getting visitors to your site is only one half of the equation. You must convert them. In fact, you need to get this right before you even attempt to drive traffic to your site.

Reason #6: Your product took far too much time to create. To be successful, having a good product is given. But if it takes two years to create that product what’s the point? Product creation is the “easy” part and should take you no more than 7 days.

Reason #7: You didn’t have the right marketing, or any, in place. The real big secret to success is marketing. Without it your business will fail, or at best struggle along. You need to explore all avenues that drive insane amounts of the right kind of traffic to your site.

And I’m sure there were many more reasons.

I know how you must feel. I used to feel that way too, until I discovered the “secrets” to creating products and then getting them to market.

I learned my secrets from a top marketer and he taught me well. Now I am passing on those secrets to you. If you’re ready to accept the challenge.

For those that have never dipped their toes into publishing waters, the time to get started is right now.

Imagine your inbox every morning overflowing with “New Order Received” notices. Now that’s a beautiful thing to wake up to.

But it gets better.

If you had more than one product you would do considerably better still.

What if you were to add one new product every month? That’s when it starts to get real interesting.

Once you get to 4 or 5 products you know you are on your way to a thriving business.

If you think that it’s going to be a lot of work maintaining these, then think again.

There is a right way and a wrong way to create your offers and if you do it right from the very beginning, maintaining them is a breeze.

You’re probably thinking: how can you create one new product every single month and bring them to market?

Before I answer that. Let me tell you what this is not about.

It’s not about selling other people’s product. That’s no way to run a business.

I firmly believe that the only way to build your own publishing empire is to have your own unique products.

Products that are not available anywhere else - by anybody.

Products that are evergreen. They never run out of fashion. Not products that are here today - gone tomorrow.

Check this out now…you won’t be sorry!

How To Write Order-Pulling Online Classified Ads!

Posted in My Posts by Toni Shrader

Free. This is probably the spirit of the Internet. With so many things you could get for free, the World Wide Web has paved the way for an evolution of multiple forms of empowerment. Online users are always on the lookout for the latest download or for the most efficient service which they could get fast, and which they could get for free.

Internet marketers, of course, are among those in this seeming mad rush for anything free. More specifically, Internet marketers are always on the lookout for channels where they could advertise their business free of charge. They have already discovered and exploited the potentials of forums, article directories, link farms and blogs.

It was only a matter of time before Internet marketers also discovered the innate powers of free classified ads. There are a lot of websites on the Internet offering valuable space where you could place an ad for your business. Yes, they’re free. But there is a problem.

Everyone else will be advertising in those websites! With the number of ads that those websites would run, it would be harder for your potential customers to distinguish your business from the rest.

This problem, of course, is best solved by writing an effective online classified ad that would undoubtedly and immediately win your customers’ interests. This is what we will discuss in this article.

Short But Sweet

The main principle that you should always keep in mind when writing a piece for a classified ad is this: keep it short but sweet.

This means that your ad should be concise enough to include what you want to convey, and attractive enough so that readers would immediately take notice of it. You don’t need long ads. Let us repeat that for emphasis. YOU DON’T NEED LONG ADS. Often, a 3 to 5 sentence long ad performs better than a mini sales page. It’s because people, by nature, refrain from reading a blatant sales pitch. By offering them something short but succinct, you’d be able to tickle their fancy and compel them to click on your link.

Your ad should be very attractive, as it would have to compete for the readers’ attention. You could try wit, most definitely, but the best ads are those which immediately grab the readers’ interest because of a clearly stated benefit. Let’s take a look at an example:

DO YOU WANT TO BE YOUR OWN BOSS AND START EARNING IMMEDIATE PROFIT WITHOUT EVER LEAVING YOUR HOME? Then this is an offer you should dare not miss. No recruiting, no forced selling, and no application fees to join. Simply click on this link to take that first step towards the attainment of your dreams.

The above example is an ad for an affiliate program. It is effective because the benefit was immediately stated, hence, it should instantaneously get the reader interested to find out more about the offer. Additionally, the ad wasn’t long at all. Your readers would have no problem reading it, since such won’t strain their eyes that much.

To Capture Leads And Not To Generate Sales

When writing your ad, also bear in mind that your ultimate purpose is to capture leads and not to generate sales. You simply cannot convince your reader to make a purchase with this medium. The best you could do is to invite the reader into visiting your website.

Of course, it goes without saying that your website should be optimized to convert your new visitors into paying customers.

With classified ads, you will be promoting your business more than your product. You will have to muster enough tactics to make your readers remember what your business is about rather than what you’re selling at the moment. In the long run, this would be what is best for your online enterprise.

Visitors Are Important to You

Posted in My Posts by Toni Shrader

If you fail to plan, then you are likely to fail in your endeavor of producing great copy. If you wish to achieve your goals, it is important to gather all the facts.

First, you should anticipate questions the visitors to your site may ask. Normally, there are four questions that a user will have that will need to be answered.

1.What am I doing here?
2.How do I do it?
3.What’s in it for me?
4.Where do I go from here?

So if your site design and navigation can not provide an obvious answer to these questions, then you should look at using copy in order to explain them. It is important that the answers to these questions should be obvious to all your users, and not just those visiting your site for the first time.

What is important to remember is that half the visitors to a site will not bother with working things out for themselves, and the other half may not even succeed after trying to work them out for themselves.

Next, when planning, focus on your core audience. Remember, you will not be able to reach everyone, so make sure that the copy you produce addresses your site’s most important visitors directly. So, spend time explaining what the site can do for them in particular.

If you want to make it more effective, then do not use words which would only be looked at by people you do not need. However, if you are targeting more than one type of visitor to your site, then make sure that you can direct them to different pages. And keep in mind your optimization….each page should have only one particular subject.

What you should remember is that a visitor will go somewhere else if they do not feel your site has something of value to offer them in particular. It is important that you make your descriptions compelling, although not excessive. Many visitors to sites will skip a site if they feel it is too full of hype (just bear in mind that some hype will almost certainly be necessary in order to excite your visitors).

To recap:

Be sure that your site answers the 4 questions a visitor will be asking themselves when they see your site for the first time as well as any future visits. Don’t have just a general site…give good solid information geared toward the visitors you want to attract. You will know you are getting everything right when you start getting traffic from the proper optimization of your site by having each page contain only one subject, and that each page should have links to your other sites or blogs, thus tying all your sites together and making you more prominent on the web.

Writing the Resource Box so it Makes People Click

Posted in My Posts by Toni Shrader

The internet is the information highway, this phrase has been used so may times it should be nominated for the Internet Cliché Award. People that go to the internet are subdivided into groups, but generally, they are out to search information. Whether for gaming, business, fun or anything else the internet has provided us with information that has proved to be very beneficial.

In recent years many people have learned the secrets of Search Engine Optimization. More and more sites have seen the effects articles have done for the traffic of their sites. Some have even created sites devoted entirely to providing articles that could be read by their website visitors and have links that could lead to many sites that are related to the topics and subjects of the articles.

For example, the sites may feature many articles about a whole lot of topics. As a website visitor reads the articles they have searched for, they can find at the end of the article a resource box that can be clicked on to link them to the site that has submitted the article. Of course the article would be in relation to the site. Lets say if the article is about rotating the tires, the resource box may lead to a link to a site that sells tires or car parts.

A resource box is what you usually find at the end of an article. They will contain the name of the author, a brief description of the author, a brief description of the sponsoring site and a link. If a reader likes what they read, they would have the tendency to find out where the article came from to read more. The resource box will be their link to the source of the article and this will entice them to go to the site and do some more reading or research for the subject or topic they are interested in.

But like the article itself, the resource box must also be eye-catching to demand the attention and interest of the reader. While the resource box encompasses only a small space, providing the right keywords and content for your resource box will provide more prodding for the reader to go to your site.

Now that we know what resource boxes are, what are the benefits of having a good resource box? Mainly its purpose is driving traffic to your site. Many sites would allow articles to be placed in their sites because they can make use of the articles to fill their pages. They also get affiliation with other sites that can be beneficial for them as well. For the sponsoring site, when you get people to click on your resource box, you generate traffic that can be counted upon as potential customers.

So what would be a good content for your resource box? Basically it is keywords, learning about the proper keywords that people are mainly searching for. There are many tools you can find in the internet that can help you in determining what keywords to use.

Resource boxes can also make use of all the creativity it can get. You only get a small space for your resource box so you better make the most of it. Try to catch the attention of your reader with resource box content that can make them give a second look. Unlike TV ads, you don’t have visual aids to drive your point in. But you do have the power of imagination of the reader. With the right content, you can make them think and be intrigued.

Another tip is to use keywords that should be related to your site. Do not mislead your potential website visitors. Build your credibility so that more people would get enticed to visit your site and browse what you have to offer. Make the people click your resource box by providing resource box content that makes a lasting impression. Instead of just putting your contact information, etc into your resource box, make it seem to flow as part of your article…this will make a much more user friendly research box and remember… You only get one chance to wow them and hundreds of chances to repulse them.

Never underestimate the power of the resource box. It may be small in size but will provide a significant aid in driving traffic to your site. A boring resource box will never get a job done. Be fun and creative but at the same time show that you have a great deal to offer. The first step is realizing how important a resource box could be in making people click your link and be directed to your site.

Writing for the web or anything else…

Posted in My Posts by Toni Shrader

Making time for your web writing is essential…as I stated in my last article..you don’t need a huge block of time…just snippets here and there…15 minutes is enough to get you started and keep you motivated to continue with your web writing.

Also, you don’t need to edit every sentence as soon as you write it, just write everything you want and then edit the whole thing later..you will be much more productive that way.

Here is something for you to practice:

Imagine you have a friend who is dreaming of becoming a writer. They really, really want to write, but are full of worry and misgivings. They worry that they really have no talent even though they feel deep down that they want to write, or maybe they feel that what they have to say won’t interest anyone else. They may even worry about taking time away from their family and think they would feel guilty about that.

Let’s write for 15 minutes to that friend. You will want to give them hope, chase away their fears so that when they talk to you and reveal their doubts and fears you will have helped them give their web writing their best effort. Use words that will fire them up and help them through this difficult time.

NOW…can you encourage yourself?

Now, I want you to imagine that you are this person. Write for 15 minutes and with your new outlook on web writing, write a letter to yourself about your plans and projects as a writer.

Be as specific as possible:
> Projects that interest you
> A subject or subjects that you would like to write about right now
> Set your goals…what will be the ultimate goal for you
> Be extravagant…examine your dreams and write about them

Separate what you have jotted down into what you consider to be realistic on through what you consider to be outrageous….these are your imaginings so anything goes…and remember, writing down anything will help in accomplishing your goals and dreams.

All it takes is a deep desire to write. Once you accept that you are a writer, you can overcome the fear that is stopping you. In every aspect of our lives its easy to let worry or misgivings influence the decisions we make. We stay in jobs we hate for fear of finding an even worse one, we stay in abusive relationships for fear of being alone. Putting off our web writing because of lack of time, or fear of rejection is just like that and our dream of web writing stays that…a dream.

If you are waiting for the perfect time, the perfect moment you are never going to find it. You will not be writing…you will be waiting for the right moment, whether writing for the web or any other type of writing you choose to do.

So, are you getting the hang of web writing?

Posted in My Posts by Toni Shrader

So are you getting the hang of writing for the web?

Anyone can write, it just takes commitment and perseverance. If you are having problems with your web writing, you can always draw on your own personal experiences. By doing so you can communicate the effect of those experiences on your life.

For instance you can focus on a specific experience that happened in your life of a relatively short duration. An example might be winning a contest such as a spelling bee or that special ball game.

Or how about recounting a variety of experiences that took place over a course of time. An example of this type of writing might be how you progressed through your schooling by recounting your learning abilities from grade to grade.

Or how about focusing on a more serious subject such as a difficulty you have overcome or a problem you have faced. Or you can make your tone humorous and light hearted.

What your writing should focus on is a sense of honesty and thoughtfulness, go beyond simply describing personal experiences to suggest the significance of your experience in terms of your individual development and understanding and how your experience can help someone else who will be reading your writing.

I want you to be able to set up a positive, happy, easy writing life. One where you don’t have to make yourself write…it’s not work to you…it’s just what you do just for the pure joy of it.

You will soon find little snippets of time during your day to write something…that is the thing I would like you to take from this entry…you don’t have to write everything at once.

So where are you going to find this time? How about the minutes you find yourself stalled in traffic, waiting for water to boil, stuck on hold….Write for a few minutes here and there as you can work them in during your day, then when you do get some longer free time, put it all together.

I will be writing some more about how to find some snippets of time to write during your day, but for now just remember to write everyday if you want to get better and better.
